Runner2Runner is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that uses Cross Country, Track & Field, and summer camp programs to help children ages 3-14 build confidence, develop healthy habits, and experience the joy of movement.
Our programs come to life through caring people who believe youth sports can be positive, welcoming, and fun. Whether you lead a local program, coach a team, direct a camp, or support our work as an intern, you can help create experiences that stay with young athletes long after practice ends.

Program Director

Runner2Runner Community Program Directors lead local youth Runner2Runner programs from planning through completion. They coordinate program locations, schedules, equipment, and family communication while recruiting and mentoring a team of coaches.
This role is ideal for an organized, community-minded leader who wants to expand access to positive youth sports. Runner2Runner provides the curriculum, training, resources, and ongoing support you need to create a fun, welcoming experience where young athletes can build confidence and thrive.

Camp Director
Create a Summer of Movement, and Fun.

Runner2Runner Camp Directors plan and oversee week-long summer camps from initial preparation through post-camp evaluation. They secure locations, organize schedules and equipment, recruit and supervise coaches, communicate with families, and ensure each camp follows youth-safety standards.
This seasonal role is ideal for an organized, energetic leader with experience in camps, youth programs, or sports management. Runner2Runner provides the curriculum, training, registration support, marketing resources, equipment, and insurance needed to deliver safe, welcoming, mission-driven camp experiences.

Coach
Teach, Motivate, and Build Confidence in Kids.

Runner2Runner Coaches bring our mission to life by leading engaging, age-appropriate practices and creating a positive environment where every young athlete can learn, grow, and belong. Coaches teach running skills while encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and individual progress.
This role is ideal for enthusiastic, dependable people who enjoy working with youth, whether or not they have prior coaching experience. Runner2Runner provides the curriculum, training, mentorship, and ongoing support you need to coach confidently and make every practice meaningful and fun.

Interviews are conducted by local Community Program Directors. If Runner2Runner does not currently have a program in your area, consider applying to serve as both a Program Director and Coach.

Intern

Runner2Runner Interns gain meaningful, hands-on experience while supporting a growing youth sports nonprofit. Based on each intern’s strengths and interests, projects may involve program operations, summer camps, communications, community outreach, fundraising, events, or nonprofit administration.
This opportunity is ideal for motivated students who want to develop practical skills while making a positive difference for young athletes and families. Runner2Runner will provide mentorship, tailor responsibilities to the selected intern, and work with eligible students and their colleges to support internship-credit requirements.

IInternships are unpaid and remote. Each internship will be tailored to the selected applicant’s strengths, interests, skills, and academic requirements. Runner2Runner will work with college or university advisors when internship credit is available.
